  • Melt the butter and add salt to taste.

Add the onion, garlic, and leek in it. When they are poached (that is, a little transparent) add the carrot and the potato. Once the potato is soft, add pepper to taste and marinate with a food processor, or blend everything.

Serve very hot, and add, if you wish, pieces of ham or bacon, you will have a soup ready in 20 minutes.

Cream of chicken, mushrooms and vegetables

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Half an onion, chopped
  • 250 g of carrot, cut into slices
  • Celery, chopped to taste
  • 200 g of chicken breast
  • 250 g of chopped chard
  • Half a cup of heavy cream

Place a pot over medium heat with the oil, add the onion, and the vegetables, stir  constantly, add the mushrooms, when five minutes have passed  add water. 

While this is cooking, dice the chicken breast into small squares and fry them in the skillet until cooked. 

Blend the preparation of the vegetables with the cream, put everything to heat over low heat, add the chicken and let it release its flavor for 5 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
